Tell us about your first day at something — school, work, as a parent, etc.

I would say that would be the first day at Amazon. For the majority of that month I was worried that I wouldn’t have a job or that I’d be told that I didn’t get the job due to the background check. When my first day arrived and I got there, there was nothing. No “Sorry….” I was shocked and surprised by this. They gave me a second chance where other companies always rejected me for some bullshit reason. I have vowed to myself not to let Amazon down. Not to talk negative about them. To work hard no matter what. And then March 2023 happened….
