Today marks the 29th anniversary of my grandfather Elbert Killebrew’s passing. I remember when it happened. And I remember going to Hannibal Missouri for a wedding. We ended up bring home a car, a plant and a praying mantis. Don’t know what happened to the plant or the praying mantis, but the car I still have to this day. And I even named the car after my grandmother Gertrude, Trudy for short. I kept the car all these years as a remembrance to that of my grandfather.
